John Novotny, Director, Corporate Environmental Control & Capital Project Management Manufacturing Technology & Engineering; Corning Inc.
John F. Novotny joined Corning as Director of Corporate Environmental Control and Capital Project Management, MT&E, in 2016. Novotny is responsible for the oversight, strategic development and management of Corning's global environmental programs and activities. He also oversees capital project management and facilities engineering.
Prior to his current position, Novotny was an executive-level environmental engineer for Arcadis, where he led environmental engineering, compliance, and health and safety for global clients. Previously, Novotny served as the global EHS manager for GE Transportation, a division of General Electric Company.
Novotny earned a B.S. in civil engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, a board-certified environmental engineer through the American Academy of Environmental Engineers, and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
